Design

Design the PCB layout and draw schematic using EDA software (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, etc.).

Structure

Use LPKF ProtoMat or ProtoLaser system to form circuit traces, pads, holes, and patterns on substrates such as FR4, ultimately creating the electrical pathways of the printed circuit board.

Multi-layer PCB solutions are also available.

Plating

Through-hole plating can be done via:

SPI

PnP

Prototyping

Reflow

Prototyping

Desktop reflow ovens are widely used for solder paste reflow in prototyping, providing flexibility for small PCB batches and rapid design iteration while allowing engineers to fine-tune heating profiles and verify solder joint quality.

Production

In high-volume manufacturing, reflow soldering is carried out with large in-line ovens that automatically move boards through the SMT line, where multi-zone temperature control ensures consistent wetting and strong solder joints across thousands of units for high efficiency and repeatable results.

Depanel

Prototyping
